Nothing takes care of a woman like estrogen!

About the Book:

Every woman goes through menopause.  While over 75% of menopausal Ob-Gyn physicians take estrogen replacement, only 5% of their menopausal patients use hormones.  Why are these doctors leveraging estrogen's power for symptom relief, health maintenance, and disease prevention?  What do these doctors know that the rest of us may not be aware of?

In this authoritative and reassuring guide to estrogen hormone therapy, Dr. Masters candidly shares her insights into how estrogen safely and effectively alleviates menopausal symptoms, and she explains how estrogen helps prevent many chronic diseases that cripple older women.

For years, menopause hormone therapy has been clouded by controversy and misinformation.  Dr. Masters clarifies all aspects of menopause, perimenopause, premenopause, and postmenopause, including estrogen deficiency, bioidentical hormones, hot flashes and night sweats, sexuality and libido, adding "a touch of testosterone," vaginal dryness, weight gain, skin wrinkles, breast cancer, osteoporosis, bladder incontinence, blood clots, heart disease, Alzheimer's dementia, strokes, and other age-related issues. Comprehensive and enlightening, this is timely reading for women of all ages.
